Jill Kanatzar is a 1994 graduate of The University of Notre Dame School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Drake University in 1991. Prior to joining the firm, Jill was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Jackson County, Missouri where she prosecuted felony criminal cases including robberies, burglaries, assaults, and homicides. Jill spent the majority of her tenure with the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Unit. She participated in over 30 jury trials including cases of adult sex crimes and crimes perpetrated against children.

Jill initially entered private practice in 1998 when she joined Stigall, Humphrey, Lucas, Henry, and Dollar. Jill began representing families and patients injured by abuse and neglect in nursing homes. She is now a partner with The Law Offices of Tim Dollar where she continues her work in the area of nursing home litigation. Jill is Chairman of the Nursing Home Litigation Committee of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, National Association of Trial Attorneys, Association of Women Lawyers, The Central Exchange, Greater Kansas City Women's Political Caucasus and Missouri Coalition for Quality Care in nursing homes.

Jill is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. She has appeared in both state and federal courts in Missouri and Kansas and the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Jill lives in Kansas City with her husband Jim and their two sons, Sam and Will.
